Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects a child’s communication, social interaction, behavior, and sensory processing. Children with autism may show challenges in eye contact, speech and language development, social engagement, play skills, and may display repetitive behaviors or sensitivity to sounds, textures, or routines. The presentation and severity can vary widely from child to child.

We emphasize early identification and accurate assessment of autism-related concerns. Through structured developmental evaluations and careful clinical observation, we aim to understand each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and support needs.

Led by Dr. Amola Khandwala, our clinic offers individualized, evidence-based intervention plans that focus on improving communication, social skills, behavior regulation, and daily functioning. Therapy recommendations are tailored to the child’s developmental level and include strong parent involvement to ensure consistent support at home and in daily environments.

With early intervention and ongoing guidance, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder can make meaningful progress in communication, learning, independence, and social interaction. Our compassionate, family-centered approach is designed to help every child reach their fullest potential while supporting families throughout their journey.
